Children’s Chapel has been well attended so far with children participating in lively discussion around the gospel. We have also been focusing on Advent and the coming of Jesus.
The new Sunday school time has been working well. Following the Advent theme, children discussed the meaning of Advent, especially the Advent wreath and the importance of the four candles.
Youth news
Three of our teens attended the diocesan-wide Youth Blast at St. Clements in St. Paul. It was a fun-filled day of youth activities. It was great to get together with other Episcopalian kids. We hope to have more attendees from St. George’s at the next event in January.
Confirmation class met at St. Edward’s for Episco-jeopardy. It is a game quite similar to the game show you may be familiar with. Some of the kids even stumped the adults!! They are all looking forward to the sleepover in February!
