Sunday School News: The kids have been talking about St. George’s as a community and the many different facets to our functioning as a whole. They listed the different jobs in the church and why they are important. We even played the Episcopal Hokey Pokey!
Many of the kids had a great time at our bowling event. Even the young children are pretty good at swinging the bowling ball!
Children’s Chapel: Thanks to Laura Harmon we now have adopted a children’s prayer service to be used in Children’s chapel. The format is similar to what occurs during the regular service while allowing for gospel discussion opportunities. Please feel free to stop in and have a look at the new Children’s Chapel bulletin.
Youth News: Just a reminder that we are once again meeting in the youth room on Sunday mornings during Adult Education. We have been following the Gospel readings and have some very good discussions around this. Thanks to Abby Smith for her help with the Sunday School activities this past month.
Things are in the works for us to participate in a pilgrimage this summer. More info to come.
