When: Monday, March 20th, 8:00pm Where: McCoy's Public House (Excelsior on Grand), 3801 Grand Way, St. Louis Park ( www.mccoyspublichouse.com) Theology & a pint is a monthly gathering and casual discussion for anyone interested in exploring the intersection of faith, god, culture and politics. March is Minnesota Food Share Month
On each Sunday of the month you may bring food or money offerings to help alleviate hunger throughout our state. The Lenten Offering will help support our parish budget. The budget amount for the Lenten Offering is $1500; if we receive more than this amount, the extra will be given to outreach ministries in St. Louis Park, in keeping with our Long Range goals. We urge you to be generous with your Lenten Offerings, for the good of our parish and the good of our community.
Reaching Out
You never know when an opportunity for spiritual growth will occur
or where it will come from. It might happen during an encounter
at the water cooler, a sales call, on the plant floor or in the
board room. I might happen while you're walking around the lake
or taking a bike ride. Or, maybe you'll find a moment of grace while
serving food to the homeless or pounding a nail for Habitat for
Humanity. At St. George's, we have discussion groups and classes
to help you understand those opportunities, opportunities to give
back to the community, and fun recreational events. To find out
